Resident Evil 2 Alternate Costumes To get the special costumes you must do the following. Start a new game on normal difficulty. Don't pick up anything. When you get to the gate that leads to the police station go down the stairs. Down there will be Brad Vickers, the pilot from Resident Evil (he's a ZOMBIE!) Head past him and go up the stairs. Get the herb from the bushes closest to the stairs. Go in the R.P.D. and get the bullets at the desk in the back of the room. Go back to Brad and fill that damb zombie full of bullets. Inspect him and take the special key. When you get to the dark room there are some lockers, use the key to unlock one and get the costumes. With Claire you get a cool denim jaket and the Colt S.A.A. gun. With Leon you either can choose a leather jacket with a skull on the back or a tank top and a baseball hat. Note: The quickest way to kill Brad is to get close then walk backwards. Let him lunge at your feet then stomp him in the head. This saves a lot of bullets and only takes away 1/8th of you health. One-Hit Gator Kill When you fight the gator boss, he starts coming towards you and you see a yellow light on the left wall. Inspect the light, it will fall and the gator will eat it. While the light is in its mouth shoot it and the gator will explode! Safe Combination The combination for the safe is 2236. Resident Evil 2 Demo Hunting Tips If you have to the shot gun, you have a few different ways of shooting down the zombies If you aim for its head and shoot, POW, headless zombie. If you aim for a zombie's leg, you can shoot their legs off or blow them in half if you aim for the zombies mid-section. If you blow their lower section, be careful, the top half will crawl at you. When you meet the Mutant creature in the Police Station, Aim low and shoot it. Two or three hits at close range with the shotgun will do the trick. Rookie Mode To play an easier version of the Resident Evil 2 Demo, highlight START and hold UP until the words Normal and Rookie appear beneath the Main Menu. Resident Evil: Director's Cut Double Ammo At the title screen choose NEW GAME then go down to ADVANCED but don't choose it. While ADVANCED is highlighted, hold RIGHT on the D-Pad. After about 10 seconds the color of ADVANCED will change. You may now start a game with either character. From now on, whenever you pick up a clip it will have 30 rounds instead of 15 and the ink ribbons will have three saves instead of two. Hunting Tips To kill Zombies in one shot, let them walk right in front of you. Then aim high with the Shotgun and fire. Poof! Dead zombies. For acid-spitting zombies, let them get pretty close, then fire three steady shots with your Beretta. This will save you a lot of ammo. To kill spiders quick, here's what to do. If you're Jill, arm the Bazooka with Flame rounds. Then when you encounter a spider let it get pretty close (or if you like, when it's ready to bite you), than fire! This works only agaist medium-sized spiders. You can try the Acid rounds, but it might take a shot or two more. For Chris, if you can pick up the flamethrower, use it agaist the huge spider. Just fire until it's dead. Playing Tip If you look at the pool table in the Bar Room of the Guest House, you'll notice cue balls reading 12, 6, 3, 9, a clock dial at the end of the table, and 2 cue sticks. This represents a clock; the numbers represents the numbers of a clock, and the cue sticks represents the hands of a clock, the shorter hand being the hour hand and the longer stick being the minute hand. For Jill's storyline, it reads 3:45 and for Chris's storyline, it reads 2:15. What this tip does is that it makes it easier to open the door with the numbered key-pad lock in the beehive room. For Jill, enter 3, 4, 5 and the door will unlock. For Chris, enter 2, 1, 5, and the door will unlock. Note: The numbers must not have been played with previously for trick to work. Remove Emblems To remove the emblems from the Doom books, examine the books and turn them on their side with the pages facing you. Press X to open the books and retrieve their emblems. Rocket Launcher with Unlimited Ammo Finish the game with Chris in under three hours, then save the data to a memory card. Start a new game using the saved data,then check Chris's inventory. You'll find a rocket launcher with unlimited ammo. Colt Python w/ Unlimited Ammo Beat the game with Chris or Jill while saving the people you encounter. Suikoden Easy Money To gain near unlimited money, go to Marco and perform the following trick. In his cup game, the coins ending position follows a specific pattern. The pattern resets itself if you leave the room, or enter a building and come back. The pattern is as follows. Right, Center, Center, Left, Right, Left, Right, Right, Left, Center, Left, Center, Right, Right, Right The pattern continues after this, but after one pass with bets of 10,000 bits, you will have earned 150,000 bits, which is usually enough for quite some time. The pattern can be repeated as often as necessary. Simply leave the room and enter again to restart. Perfect Ending The secret to gaining all 108 characters is keeping Pahn and Gremio alive. Here's how to do it. The fight between Pahn and General Teo is not preordained as Pahn's death. To win, make sure Pahn is at least level 30 and his weapon is at least level 12. While fighting, simply defend every turn. You will take minimal damage from attacks, no damage from defends, and Teo will be seriously hurt when he desperately attacks. To encourage Teo's desperate attacks, try this: 1.Say yes on the first time Mathieu asks if you are ready to fight your father. 2.In the battle with Teo's army use magic all three times. 3.When Pahn asks you for permission to fight Teo say, "I'll see you later" and keep saying this until Mathieu intervenes and tells you that tou have more important things to attend to. 4.Wish Pahn good luck. If Pahn lives, and you get all the other characters, Gremio will be revived prior to the last battle. BANG! All 108 characters and the special ending! Playing Tips 1.Follow the pattern to recruit Sheila the washing girl by talking to the guy at the top right, then the guy in the middle of town, then the woman at the bottom right, then the guy in the hotel, then buy sugar and retrace your steps. 2.When you come to the paintings puzzle in Neclord's castle, choose to look at them in this order: (numbered 1,2,3,4 from left to right) 3, 2, 4, 1. 3.In the town of Ricon, recruit Jabba with the nameless urn and Clive in the Liquor store. Clive is random so keep coming back for him. 4.If possible, return to a defeated castle. You never know who will show up there. 5.After defeating the generals, don't kill any of them. They can be great allies. 6.Fight every battle, even the minor ones. This helps build up your exp. points and money. Use this hard earned cash to sharpen your weapons and buy armor. 7.Remember who you couldn't recruit. Be sure to come back for them when you've satisfied their requirements.
