For the best ending, shoot off all the panels on the Mothership. For the

Kronn Hunter Mode
At the beginning of the game, ONLY shoot the first three STAAR team members
you see. If you did this right you'll enter Kronn Hunter mode. In this
mode, you are a mercenary from the Kronn hierarchy sent to steralize Area
51 of the Kronn rebels. You will notice that the grenades, bullets, shotgun
shells, and machine
gun bullets have all taken on a Kronn form. You will also gain 20,000 extra
points
whenever your score is tallied, and you can shoot STAAR team members with
impunity.
Secret Rooms
It seems only proper that a secret base contains secret rooms. Here's how
to find them:
Level 2: Shoot out all of the upper windows of the far back wall in the Hangar.
Another can be found by shooting all the yellow barrels when you are the
forklift.
Level 4: Shoot every yellow box while you're riding on the STAAR jeep
Level 5: Shoot the doorplate of the second door marked General Weatherby as
the door is opening.
Level 7: Shoot all the yellow barrels at the first area where the four
purple zombies are throwing barrels on the hill.

Burning Road
To race the tracks in the opposite direction is easy. After you start,
simply turn around and start racing backwards. The other cars will
follow you.
Bases Loaded
Cheat Mode
Before using the following codes you must enter cheat mode. To do so, start
a new game and pause it. While paused, use Controller Two and press
Triangle, Square, X,
Circle, Circle. You'll hear a piano if you did this correctly.
Note: This code must be entered before entering any of the codes below, and
must be
reentered for each code desired.
Computer vs. Computer
To watch the Playstation play itself, enter Cheat Mode and press L2. To
regain control,
re-enter Cheat Mode and press L2 again.
Home Run
For an automatic home run (if you hit the ball), enter Cheat Mode and press
L1, then
unpause the game. To revert to normal, re-enter the Cheat Mode code and
press L1
again.
Inning Select
To play in any inning, enter Cheat Mode and press X to bring up a "Let's Go
Inning" menu in the upper left-hand corner. To change innings (up to 18),
re-enter Cheat Mode and press X.

Camera Tricks
On the Options menu, select control type "H2." Select "Camera Action" and
scroll through the options until you see "Your Self." Select any of the
control types and you'll see that the shoulder buttons have now changed to
camera controls. Begin a game and you'll be able to change the camera
angles whenever you pause the game. Press Select while doing this to toggle
between Rotate/Tilt and Zoom/Pan controls.
Play as Gaia
At the title screen, press Down, Down-Left, Left, Square. You should hear
the word
"Fight." At the Player Select screen, highlight Eiji, hold Up and press
Square.
Play as Sho
Enter the Gaia code, play as Gaia, and lose to the computer. Don't continue
and let the
time run out. The game resets, and the title screen appears. When the
options are
listed completely again, press Right, Left, Right, Left, Square on
Controller Two. A
voice will say "Fight." At the Player Select screen, highlight Kayin, hold
Down, and press Square.
Battle Arena Toshinden 2
Camera Tricks
On the Options menu, select control type "H2." Select "Camera Action" and

Here's an easier way to get the bosses in the Japanese version. To get

To get
Sho and Vermillion, do the same thing as the Uranus/Master Code except
backwards
(Square, R2, R1, Triangle, L2, L1) and use Controller Two.
When the Character Select screen appears, hold Select to slow it down. The new
characters will appear after Chaos.
Play as Bosses - US Version
Here's an easier way to get the bosses in the US version.
To get Uranus and Master:

Access 20 Hidden Characters
Beat the game with every normal character. Each time you beat the game it
will give you a hidden "counterpart" character. After you have all the
counterparts, beat the game with a counterpart, then beat the game with
every selectable player after that.
Random Character Select
At the character select screen, hold L1 + L2 + R2 + R1 to choose a fighter
at random.
Beyond the Beyond
Double Deadly Attack
For a deadly attack, press X repeatedly as fast as you can until you hear a
"kriiing" sound.
Infinite Money
This bug allows you to gain as much money as you need. To execute it equip any
character with a ring, then sell that ring. You'll receive the money, but
the ring will still be equipped and you can sell it again! Repeat as
needed.
Note: This code is actually a bug in early versions of Beyond the Beyond.
It has since
been fixed and may not work in your copy.
Secret Characters
There are at least three secret characters hidden in this game. Here's how
to find them:
Lorele can be found in the ruined castle of Barbaros. Go through the exit
near the
priest and head towards the stairs in the back. Push the right walls near
the stairs
until you find a secret entrance. This will lead you to Lorele.
Percy is the Black Night. All you have to do to get him is NOT fight him
for about 15
rounds. He'll run away, but join your party later.
Tont can be found on your way to Simone (to get the counsel of Arawn's high
priest). On your way there you pass through a cave maze. At one point you come
Simone, while the left brings you to another part of the mountain. Climb to
the top
from the left side, and you will see a large emerald. Pick it up and take
it with you.
Find your way back onto the right path, and head for Simone. While there, go to
the home of the summoner of the west side of town. He will say he needs the
jewel
you retrieved. Give it to him and watch the sequence. Afterward, a little
blob will
follow behind you. Try to exit the town to retrieve Tont.

view a cool

Extra Lives
On the Indian Ocean board go to the "double loop" room (there are two
giant loops standing up on the floor). Pilot your craft between the two
loops and turn toward the wall covered with starfish. Shoot missiles to
reveal a secret passageway. Go down passageway and find a room with four
crystals on the wall. Shoot each of the crystals until they shoot out
shiny disco balls. Once all four are activated, an extra man will appear
in the center of the room.
On the Mediterranean board blow up the tall statue and grab some pilot
missiles. Dive deep in front of the statue and go through the doorway
(it's below critical depth and it has a health in it). Now go up until
you hit the ceiling. In front of you is a door with a large keyhole.
Shoot a pilot missile through the keyhole (use regular missiles to tell
when you're lined up right). Once the pilot missile goes through the
hole, guide it around the first corner and hit the pot on the stand.
This opens the door. Swim down the tunnels into the room with the
statue. Up top on the shelves is a red pot that contains a yellow key.
Get the key. Now swim all the way back out and go to the upper temple
(the one with the female statues in front). Now that you have the key,
the door will open. Blow up the altar on the floor and go down the
secret tunnel to the extra man.
Lay a Mine
Hold R2 and press Right, Left, Down.
Note: This assumes the controller is in the default configuration.
Secret Room and Extra Life
On the second level, at the Battle in the Red Sea, go inside the temple
and find the room where there are seven statues of kings sitting upon
thrones - three on each side of the room and one in the middle, sitting
on an incline going down. You can hit the other statues for weapons, but
the statue in the middle is the important one. Hit it with a remote
detonator or something powerful. It will blow up, revealing a secret
passage to a hidden room. One of the statues in this room contains the
extra life.
Stun Blast
Hold R2 and press Right, Left, Up.

First Level Skip
In the the first level, pause the game and go to the warp room and you

Free Crystal
To get a crystal in the third warp room without playing a level, go back
to the first warp room and beat one of the warp tunnels. Crash will take
out a crystal and toss it up but the crystal will go to the third warp
room.
Hidden Warps
Five warps are hidden througout this game. Here's how to find them.
1. BEAR DOWN: The small ice floe at the end of the stage.
2. AIR CRASH: The 2nd river. Don't jetski, but jump on the boxes to the
platform.
3. UNBEARABLE: When the cub bucks you off, go back until you see him
again.
4. HANGIN' OUT: when you drop down a hole into some eel-less water, go
into the foreground and drop down the hole. (Pssst....use R1 to make
Crash pull up his legs.)
5. DIGGIN' IT: Near the end there is a spitter plant on a circular
platform. Bellyflop onto it.
More Extra Lives
When you are on the 4th floor with the vortexes, get into the level with
the bees. Now, instead of going underground to avoid the bees, hit all 5
of them away.(it takes practice) If done correctly, you should receive 2
lives, if done again, 1 more life will be given. Do this as much as you
wish.
Secret Level
In the "UNBEARABLE" level, when the second bear falls off the bridge, go
back and jump into the space where he fell. This should take you to a
level with turtles and enemies who shoot at you.

Explore an Inverted Castle
If you defeat the possessed Richter Belmond in Dracula's Keep, you'll
see the ending. But what you may not realise is that this is the 'bad
end', and you've only seen half the game! To get to the real ending:
First, make sure you've gotten both rings from Maria. The first you
recieve after defeating the Succubus in the 'Nightmare' stage. The
second is past the hall with all the spikes in the Cathedral (you need
the SpikeBuster Armor from the Catacombs)
Equip both rings at once in the room with the big clock, and the floor
will open. Down in this 'lair' Maria is waiting for you once again.
She'll give you a vital piece of information.
Once all this is done, then go to Dracula's Keep and meet Richter. He'll
attack you, but you will now be able to see a green orb floating above
him. Attack the orb, but _don't_kill_Richter_ (hint: the Sword Companion
will serve you well here) After a bit of attacking, the orb will break
open, revealing everyone's favorite loathesome 18th/19th century
warlock: Shaft! (daaaarn right! right on, bruthaman!)
This also breaks Shaft's spell, freeing Richter from the spirit of
Dracula. Alucard will tell Richter and Maria to escape while they can as
the clouds swirl and open up, revealing a mirror-image of the Evil
Castle! Shaft escapes into the Inverted Castle, and of course it's
Alucard's duty to chase after him!
But just when you think you know the layout already, you find some
crucial elements of the castle have been rearranged, it's stocked with
bigger and badder enemies, and even the music has changed!

Start a race in Hong Kong, level 5. Race until you hit the dirt road,
then continue until you see the bridge. Slowly drive across the bridge,
then immediately turn to the right. Next, drive BENEATH the bridge to
reveal a gold medallion and access to the bonus car and track.
Extra Levels
Easter Island 2:
Start the race with any team. After you go through the lava tunnels you
will come to a "S" curve in a jungle area. At the end of the "S" curve
go to the right off the track and on to the grass just before the red
and white road block. Follow the grass to a small beach. At the end of
the beach you will find a gold object. Run over it and it will take you
to an EXTRA LEVEL where you will race Easter Island in a Rally Car.
Hong Kong 5:
Start the race with any team. When you get to the dirt road, go to the
second bridge. Go under the bridge and you will find a gold object. Run
over the gold object and it will take you to an EXTRA LEVEL where you
will race Hong Kong in a Dakar Car.
Scotland 3:
Start the race with any team. As you head tword the dark, forested part
of the track, climb the slanted rocks on the right side just before the
forest starts. Climb above the road into the woods. Drive in the woods
untill you get to the turn with the black and white backstop. Go behind
the backstop and you will find a gold object. Run over the gold object
and it will take you to an EXTRA LEVEL where you will race Scotland in a
Dune Buggy.
More Extra Levels
Any team can be used to perform these cheats.
Switzerland 1: Behind the Wagner Ski House just past the bridge between the
two snow covered
mountains.
Egypt 1: Next to the old egyptian building on your right when you are going
through the turny part
with the water on your left.
Easter Island 2: Behind the blocked off part after the twisty-turny tree
part right before the ramp.
Moscow 2: Behind the railing on the right just next to the ramp (use the
ramp to get over the railing).
Scotland 3: Behind the railing on the right in the woods.

Extra Levels
There are several levels hidden in this game. Here's how to find a few
of them.
Egypt 1:
Pick any racing team, then start the race. Drive over 3 wooden bridges,
after 3rd start to slow down. On your right you will see an old EGYPTIAN
BUILDING, find a way up to it (Drive along the edge of the sand). Once
up there drive all the way around this building. There will be a squared
shaped object (GOLD in colour). Run over it and you will enter the EXTRA
LEVEL.
Moscow 1:
Pick the all red team (AHMED). If you come in first you'll go to MOSCOW
2. Then keep same team and start second level. It's now raining. Start
race almost to the end of the race you will see a BIG JUMP (cant miss
it) Hit the jump while moving to the left (IF YOU MISS, TURN AROUND AND
DO IT AGAIN.) You have to jump the gard rail. Once this is done you will
see a BUILDING with lots of windows, There is a laneway on each side of
this building go down the left side and you will see the GOLD object run
over it. This takes you to the EXTRA LEVEL.
Switzerland 1:
Pick the all red team (AHMED). Race until you go through two tunnels,
After the second tunnel you will see a bunch of cottages and people on
your left. If you are going fast enough you should be able to jump over
the shoulder of the road. Then all you have to do is look behind the
cottages and find the GOLD object for the EXTRA LEVEL.

Target Civilians and Friendlies
Go to the options menu and enter your name as "GODZILLA". Exit to game

you kill civilian ground targets and your wingman.
Tourist Mode

Bonus Character and Tracks
To race as Enigma, beat all ten tracks at Master Difficulty. When you
get Enigma, there is also a new difficulty level that opens up called
Insane!
It is also possible to race on the original Jet Moto tracks depending on
who you used to beat the Master Level. For instance beating it with the
Max gets you joy ride! Happy hunting!
Meltdown Tip
For all-out, insane, mad air, do the course: Meltdown. After the 1st
turn-around, when you're about to make you're 90 degree turn and pass
the beginning part, use some nitro. Only turn a little bit at that turn.
You'll go way up on the track boundary.
Shortcuts
After Shock: On the map for After Shock you'll see two squares at the
bottom. Go to the top of the second one and go through the little hole
in the left arrow sign. Now go to th left turn right agian and you see
the little canal. Use a turbo once you are on either the left or the
right side.
Slickrock Gorge: Try this shortcut on Slickrock Gorge. When coming
around one of the last few turns on the river you should see a large
hole in the canyon wall and a rock directly in front of it in the water.
Head for the rock and jump through the hole. Follow the river to the
left and you'll be brought out just past the checkpoint on your way to
the start/finish line.
Ka-Ma-Te: In the track Ka-Ma-Te there is a shortcut right at the
beginning when you enter the swamp. There is a green ramp to the left of
the entrance which you can use to lift yourself to a bridge which cuts
across part of the track.
Rollercide: In the track of rollercide, there is a shortcut which can
save you valuable time, and put you in the lead if you are good enough
to do it. After the first suicide turn(where the bell is) go straight
instead of heading down into the full circle turn. If you aim it right
and head between the signs, you can fly straight across to the main part
of the lap.
The Shaft: In "The Shaft", after you go through the tunnel around the
first turn of the track, you have to make a jump. As you leave the
tunnel, go to the left of the big rock in the middle of the track. Go
off the jump at an angle so that you almost hit the right wall. If done
correctly, you will land very close to the turn-around point and still
be given the check point at the beginning of the S-turn. This shortcut
will gain you anywhere from 2 to 6 positions!

presenter back to Raider's Choice. Finally, go to the main menu and

Air Brakes
At the "Code Enabled" screen (see Easier Tricks) press R1, R2, Right, L2, Up,
Circle, Up, Circle to enable air brakes.
All Tracks
To unlock all the tracks, go to the Options screen and set the Difficulty
to Amateur and
Trophy Presenter to Male. Return to the Main Screen then press Up, Right,
Down, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left. Go back to the Options screen by press
Left, X. Now set Difficulty to Professional and Trophy Presenter to
"Rider's Choice". Return once again to the Main Screen and press Up, Left,
Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right. If you did everything right you'll hear
"Ka-ching!" and gain access to all the tracks!
Cliff Dive
Go to Cliff Diver Track. Near the end of the track there is a tall island
with a tree on it. Ride up to the tree and turbo off the island. If your
timing is good you'll be able to do between 4 and 8 flips!
Double Stunt Points
At the "Code Enabled" screen (see Easier Tricks) press Right, Up, Circle, L2,
Triangle, Circle, R1, R2 to enable air brakes.
Easier Tricks
When you beat the game in MASTER mode, a bubble will appear saying "Codes
Enabled". At this screen press Down, Circle, Left, L1, Left, Right, Left,
Right. This will make tricks easier and faster to execute.
Note: To get to MASTER mode you must first beat the game on the PROFESSIONAL
setting.
Ice Racing
At the "Code Enabled" screen (see Easier Tricks) press Up, R2, R1, Right,
L1, Square, Right, Right.
Joyride Tip
On Joyride, go to the ramp (not the broken highway). Jump off the ramp and
turn around. Go towards the side of the ramp and go to the first line that
appears on the ramp. Slowly ride up to it and right when you hit it will
send you flying. While in the air you can do three backflips with three
twists if you press and hold L1 or R1 and Up or Down.
Rocket Racer
At the "Code Enabled" screen (see Easier Tricks) press Triangle, Up, Up,
L2, L2, Up,
Up, Up.
Show-off Cameras
At the "Code Enabled" screen (see Easier Tricks) press Triangle, Down, Square,

corner of the screen. To enter a number, hold a combination of Shift
buttons (see below), then press Select to enter the digit.
When entering numbers, R1=1, R2=2, L1=4 and L2=8. By combining buttons (eg.
